WordPress Website Creation & Visual Identity
Aesthetic Music Collective
Context & challenges
Clément needed a website that could clearly demonstrate his expertise through the work created for each client. From the start, he wanted a strong editorial feel, so the website would read almost like a magazine rather than a traditional portfolio. Several key objectives shaped the project:
- Create an editorial visual identity from scratch
- Design a case study page system to showcase each venue: initial observations, proposed approach, and results
- Allow visitors to listen directly to the sound identity created for each client through a Spotify playlist embedded in every case study.
- Ensure complete publishing autonomy, with no technical WordPress knowledge required.
Execution
From the very first design concepts, the editorial approach shaped the art direction: bold typography, layouts inspired by print, and a reading flow designed to feel more like a long-form article than a sales page.
The website was then developed on WordPress, with GSAP animations supporting the storytelling without ever distracting from it.
A case study page template was created to keep every project consistent while preserving the editorial approach. The WordPress back office was built with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), allowing Clément to publish a new case study himself by simply adding his notes and the corresponding Spotify playlist, with no technical intervention required.
Technical details
- Creation of an editorial visual identity (Art Direction)
- Full WordPress website development
- GSAP animation integration, including scroll effects, transitions, and micro-interactions
- Reusable case study page template (observation, approach, results)
- Dedicated Spotify playlist integration for each case study
- ustom ACF fields for fully independent case study publishing
Result
Aesthetic Music Collective now has a scalable showcase website that sits somewhere between a portfolio and an editorial magazine. The website allows AMC to:
- Showcase each collaboration as a fully developed case study
- Bring the sound work created for each client to life through direct listening
- Easily add new projects and client testimonials with complete autonomy
- Strengthen the brand’s credibility through an editorial tone that reflects its founder’s identity
The website is now a living platform that Clément can continue to develop himself as new collaborations are added.
Project Evolution
Several months after launch, Clément came back with a new requirement: adding a client testimonials section. A new ACF structure was created so he could easily collect and publish client feedback, with testimonials automatically displayed on the website and no technical handling required on his side.
