Context

For more than 50 years, Les Manèges Ravoire have been designing and operating classic, themed and custom-made carousels. Their rides are made in France and installed all over the country.

The client wanted a clear, modern showcase website to easily present its rides, its craftsmanship and its installations, while staying simple to use day to day.

The main goals of the project were to:

  • create a professional, readable showcase website

  • showcase the rides through imagery

  • make adding and updating content easy

  • make the site's administration accessible, with no technical skills required

A central point of the project was photo management, key to showcasing the rides and installations.

The build

The website was developed on WordPress, with a fully custom theme.
I structured the site with ACF custom fieldsto make content management in the back office as simple as possible.

The site's sections were designed so the client can easily add:

  • new photos

  • new rides

  • descriptive content, with no risk of breaking the layout
